Run 958

Run 958 was from Sieweburen, Rue de Septfontaines. It was good. We had Thuringers (oops Grillwurstchen) and red wine at the Stroomers.

1000th Run Pre-info

Hi,

until we can get the main website ready, early information about our 1000th run and 18th Birthday Cummin' of Age weekend will be posted here. An announcement has been added to the World Hash Events Calendar - see here.

The provisional date is 11th - 13th April 2008.

The usual goody bag & T-shirt will be provided, as will most meals, all beer and different accommodation options (hostel, hotel, sleeping with the winos at the gare ...).

Run 957

Run 957 last night was from Niederanven, more specifically "les Arcades" shopping centre. Only 6 hardy souls showed up for what at first was a dreary rainy evening - but just before the "off" the sun broke through and we headed for the end of the rainbow - to find our personal crock of shit. Your author was still injured and was only going to run to the eponymous 1st check, but Snitch had said that the 1st part of the trail passed through a naturist reserve so he went further - to discover that it was only a nature reserve. After that a short cut back to sit in the evening sunshine waiting for the pack, listening to the Gypsy Kings and having a cold beer. After the fat man dancing Down-Downs (as always with a small group, everyone got one) Snitch led 22Tango and SBF to a "great bar" where we were treated to cocktails by said Snitch (what about rule #1 - no pooftahs?) and ate tagliata at the bar so that Snitch could drool over the Romanian barmaid's big tits. OK we all did. After SBFs famous Romanian BJ joke and several free limoncellas it was home to bed.

Run 956

Tonight's 956 Hash was at Petange Gare, which is, er, the Gare in Petange. Your hare was Naughty Nun. Petange can be translated as Fart City.

11 runners and 2 non-runners (one injured and one lazy) showed up. I was the injured one so I can't tell you much abvout the run, except that it was pissing rain the whole time, and the pack returned looking like entrants to a wet t-shirt contest. Most people had not brought wet weather gear, so looked very miserable.

Best down-down concerned Naughty Nurse who has devised a unique way of dealing with 80-year-old men's erections. On On to Naughty Nun's surprise feast, where sumptuous Luxembourgish delicacies and >2 kilos of vin rouge were served.

Run 955

Tonight's 995 Hash meeting point was the Glacis, at the corner near Ave Pasteur. The hare was second check. There was a change of ON-INN - it was La Torre pizzeria, where there were surprises in store. At the restaurant there was an informal discussion on what to for our 1000th run in Spring 2008 - a small ad hoc group of Squirrel, 2nd Check and SlimBoyFat will start initial planning, and involve others when needed. The run itself was very well attended, with 30+ participants. It was basically a tour de Limpertsberg, with the FRBs not calling, nor marking the trail, so that the middle group had to recheck everything. There was a welcome champagne stop to celebrate 2nd Check's 21st birthday, at the entrance to parc Alfred E Neuman and then back to the circle, burping from the bubbles. Down Downs went to the girls sitting on the bollards, the sox maniacs, the birthday girl (*3), Cilla the Human and Ralf for holding hands (an Athens job), and various others, Hash Granny provided a carrot birthday cake of which W*nk Cough ate 50%.

Progress report on La Torre - the glass sizes have increased, but still no digestifs gratuits!
